FAQ

My antivirus has detected it as a virus. What should I do?

I can assure you that Kā-chā is not a virus, and it is entirely safe to press the 'ignore this threat' button.
This happens because, like Alpha, the software has not yet been signed with a trust certificate. It will be signed when the 1.0 release is available

What does 'alpha' mean?

When a software is in the Alpha stage, it means that it is in a development stage where it is ready for use, but some aspects may not be finalized. The user interface may not be final, the software may be unstable, and may contain some bugs. The primary goal of the Alpha stage is experimentation and issue resolution through feedback from external users. Although I'm referring to it as 'Alpha,' in fact, this is an Open Beta, but 'Alpha' sounds better and makes us feel more reassured when reading user reports.
